Meet our friendly, experienced pediatricians and staff at Kids Care Pediatrics. Our entire team is dedicated to helping you and your child feel at home from the moment you walk through the door. We’re proud to be members of the Plainfield and Colonia communities and serve the needs of their children.
We pride ourselves on being an exceptional practice where children are put at the forefront of care. Our child-focused practice works hard to meet the needs of children from infancy through adolescence. Compassionate, knowledgeable and supportive staff is the cornerstone of Kids Care Pediatrics quality care. All of our pediatricians and medical staff are highly trained professionals, and maintain the highest level of accreditation in pediatrics to address the special needs of infants, children, and teens.
We strive to treat each and every patient as we would want our own children to be treated. Our doctors and staff look forward to building a relationship with you and your family.
Dr. Anita Kishen founded Kids Care Pediatrics with a deep commitment to providing compassionate, evidence-based care to her patients. Inspired by her father’s dedication to medicine, she developed a strong passion for serving the community, first in India and later in Brooklyn, New York.
Beyond her clinical practice, Dr. Kishen is actively involved in public health initiatives. She is a member of the New Jersey Immunization Network and participates in various educational programs through the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP). She also serves as a medical advisor for a New Jersey health plan.
Recognizing the growing need for mental health support, Dr. Kishen launched a mental health program at Kids Care Pediatrics during the pandemic. Along with her team, she continues to engage in various initiatives to promote health and well-being for the families she serves. Her mission remains to ensure that every child receives the highest standard of medical care in a nurturing and supportive environment.
When she is not working, Dr. Kishen enjoys spending time with her family and friends and loves visiting New York City.
